ماللزمان سهامه تتراشق في كبدي
والموت كالبرق يجد في الطلب
إن كواكب ليلي غدت ترحل
وشمس النهار تنعي عن كثب
يا رب أزهار عمري منكسة
والدهر سعى سعيه بالعطب
ياعين فيضي دماء في ساحته
لعله يصرف ما أذاكي من كرب
ياقلبي ماعاد لي دمعا لأنثره
والجوارح تخشى النار والحطب
قد سعت بالذنب وتخشى عواقبه
فعنفتها لوما ولاجدوى من العتب
يا فالق الحب رحماك كواهلنا
خفف من الحزن قد فاق اللهب
سهام الدواهي تشد الأوتار مصوبة
فرحماك ربي بعبدك من سوء منقلب

Siham Al Dawahi with my pen. Saudi is a timeless friend. Its arrows are shooting into my liver. Death, like lightning, finds its way.
