دعيني وارحلي عنّي
دعيني ولا تسألي عن ماضي السّنين
يا شهد الرّوح
يا نغما يطرب الوتين
يا نورا بدّد ظلم اللّيالي
ومحا عنّي رجس الأنين
يعد أن حطّم البعدُ فؤادي
ومزّق هواك هدأة الحنين
وتضاعف فيض شجوني
يا من حلمت بلقياها
حتّى اشفقت الآه على خافقي
ولانت نار بعدك وأمست
دفئا وبلسما لقلب مسكين
كفى وهما ودعيني
لقد سئمت جهرك بالجفى
وأشفقت من دمع على جفوني
حلمت بهواك يا كلّ الرّجاء
وتأمّل قلبي وما أضاع الرجا
فمن وهم اليقين دعيني
ماكان منك إلا تمنّعا
وما وهبتني يوما أملا
فشهد الرّوح قد جرحه طيفك
وبات لقلبي كأنّه لم يَكُنِ
دعيني بلا طيفك
فما عادت تبهرني العيون
دعيني ماعدت ابحر دعبني
يا من كنت بالأمس حبيبًا
