لماذا افترقنا؟
لماذا طوانا زمان الحنينْ ؟
فلو تعرفين
عذابي وجرحي
وما خلفتهُ عليَّ السنونْ
لقد عشت عمراً
يعاني انكسارْ
فهل تعلمين؟
معاني الخريف
معاني الدمار

فــ بعدكِ
في كل دربٍ ألاقي
سراب الأماني
خداع الأغاني
شطوطاً من الزيف
ألقت حناني
فلا شيء بعدكِ
غير العذابْ
*
لماذا رحلتِ؟
وقد كنت عندي
كضوءٍ يسير بقلبي
لدرب اليقين
رأيتك
نوراً..
وفجراً
وعمراً
ينام
على راحتيهِ الحنين
*
لماذا رحلتِ؟
هوانا الجريح
يعاتب فينا
ليالي الجحود
لماذا نَسيْتِ هوانا الكبير
لماذا نعيش
زمان الشرود
*
أنادي عليكِ
لأن هواكِ
قلوعي و مجدي
وبعدكِ ..
قلبي
يعيش الهوان
فقد كان حبِكْ
بريق الحياة
شعاع الأمانْ
وبعدكِ
أرحلُ في كل أرضٍ
وفي كل فجر
أنادي عليكِ
فألقاك
طيفاً بكل العيون
وألقاكِ عهداً
أَبَى أن يخون
وألقاكِ ظلاً
بصحراء عمري
أبَى أن يدوم

أنادي عليكِ
وكيف التلاقي ..
فبيني ...
وبينكِ
جسرٌ تهدم
شراعٌ توارى
وراء البحارْ
أنادى عليكِ
فتنسينَ حبي
تَمُدِّينَ حولي جدار
ليبقى هواكِ
بقلبي

And you were with me as a light guiding my heart to the path of certainty. I saw you as a light.. and a dawn and a lifetime that sleeps on the palms of nostalgia * Why did you leave? Our wounded love reproaches us on nights of ingratitude. Why have you forgotten our great love? Why do we live in a time of fugue? A covenant that refused to be betrayed, and I met you as a shadow in the desert of my life that refused to last * I call to you and how can we meet.. So between me... and you is a bridge You demolished a sail that disappeared beyond the seas I call to you and you forget my love You build a wall around me So that your love remains in my heart like light.... and fire
