قد يحدث أن تجد الأمان وتحتمي 

فيمَنْ كنت تراه طوال الوقت عدواً

في حين أن أقرب الناس إليك يغدر بك 

ويطعنك في ظهرك 

لا تنخدع بزيف الحديث 

ولا تغرك المشاعر الناعمة 

فإن المظاهر دوماً خادعة
