أمسك بحبل الوداد ولا تتركه

تغاضى عن الخطأ ولا تدركه
صافح كل من أراد أن يعتذر
واصفح فإن الخطأ ناراً تحرقه
أطبق فاك على عتبة الصمت
قيد لسانك وقتها ولا تحركه
إلا بكلمة طيبة تغفر ما مضى
ولا تجعل شرور النفس تسرقه
فلا تقطع شعرة الود بينكما
ربما كانت طريقاً للعودة تؤرقه
اجعل فؤادك كماء هاديء يحمله
ليخمد شيطانه الذي كاد يغرقه
أحرص دائما على شعرة معاوية
ربما كانت طريق النجاة ليسلكه
