وأدلهم ظلامه ..
وياقلبي لاتزال ساهر
فماذا تريد؟

هل تراك وقعت
في الهوى من جديد
أم تذكرت حب انزوى
وغيبه ماض تليد
أم أنك تألمت لما ترى
من حاضر العرب البليد
ماذا دهاك؟..ومالذي أعتراك؟
يتدفق منك الحزن
لمرأى أعزة قد صاروا عبيد
فلسطين يا قلبي ضاعت
والعرب في شغل عما يؤلمك
بعيد
الوطن قد صار أوطان
والعزة والكرامة
أعتلاها الصديد
والأقصى تقاصى
وصار عنك بعيد
تأوه وأمدد العين بدمع
وجمد الدم في الوريد
العملاء قد ركبوا الخيول
والخونة أووا الى ركن
أعتقدوه رشيد
والأمة أعتلاها الوهن
و تنصلت من كل شهيد
ونصبت للرجال المشانق
فقط لتنافق
ولم يعد ينفعك التنهيد
تنتظر الصبح ولن يأتي
فبعد الليل سيعم ليل جديد
ولن ترى الشمس
لأنها غربت وهذا أكيد
فأمر العرب لم يعد أمرهم
بل أمر شيطان مريد
لهذا نسوا الأسرى
وهم ألوف مكبلين بسرابيل
ومحاطون بالحديد
وهم خيار الأمة
فماذا ياقلبي تريد؟
نم كما ينام بقية العرب
ودعك من السهر
فهو لن يفيد
تتلوى مما ترى في غزة
ومن غياب الأشقاء
وهم غير بعيد
أنت تتأوه وهم يتلهون
ويقولون بعد كل كأس
هل من مزيد
ركنوا الى الحياة
فأزدادوا ذلا وخنوع
ولم يعد يهمهم سماع النشيد.
