احبك احبك عمر طويل
فحبك عندى ظلال ونيل
وزرع ندى وشجر نخيل
وماء خرير يشفى العليل
فلا تتركينى كشمس الأصيل
فأنت الرفيق وأنت الخليل
وقلبى بدونك سقيم ذليل
بحبك يا مصر يا بلد المواويل
يامهد الحضارة والشعب الاصيل
أحبك دوما سئمت الرحيل

A poem entitled (I Love You, Egypt) written by the poet Ahmed Fadl. I love you. I love you for a long life. Your love for me is shadows and the Nile and plants of dew and palm trees and flowing water heals the sick. Do not leave me like the afternoon sun. You are the companion and you are Hebron. Without you my heart is sick and humiliated. I love you, Egypt, the country of the Mawawil, the cradle of civilization and the authentic people. I love you always.
